Join Captain Stephen for a 4-hour flood tide inshore fishing trip in Northeast Florida, fishing the waters of Nassau Sound, the Intracoastal Waterway, Amelia Island, and St. Augustine Inlet. These trips are timed around the tide, which means a later-day departure designed to line up with ideal flood tide conditions.

This is a unique shallow-water fishing experience focused on fly and light tackle artificial lures as you explore the spartina grass flats. During the flood tide, redfish move up onto the flats to feed, and you’ll have the chance to spot them in extremely shallow water as they push through the grass.

You’ll move quietly across the flats with Captain Stephen on the push pole, covering productive areas while keeping an eye out for redfish working the shoreline and grass edges. The focus is on a calm, steady approach and taking advantage of the natural movement of fish with the rising tide.

These waters around Northeast Florida offer a special inshore experience where timing the tide is everything, and flood tides create access to shallow grass flats that aren’t always fishable.

Whether you’re fly fishing or throwing light tackle artificials, this trip offers a laid-back but exciting way to experience sight fishing for redfish in one of Florida’s most scenic coastal environments.

Feel free to bring any special drinks as only water will be provided. Anything that can fit in a hand bag besides aerosol sprays are acceptable

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 5 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 5 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
