We had a great time fishing today! The fish bit well, and the weather cooperated for the most part, although we did have to dodge a few thunderstorms and some lightning.
Water temperatures are down to 79°, and you can really start to feel the seasonal change happening. Spanish mackerel are starting to show back up, while the pogies along the beach are beginning to fade away. We caught kingfish, black sea bass, Barracudas, red snapper and more

The Past week. Plenty of redfish in the river as well as flounder up to 250 and jacks. Live shrimp and live mullet on TBS jigs are the ticket.

The bite continues to stay strong on the St. Johns River! Redfish, trout, and a mixed bag have been keeping rods bent despite the late-summer heat. Early mornings have been producing the best action, with plenty of opportunities on light tackle right in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville. 🌴🎣

Backwater and flats Fishing has been outstanding in the scenic estuaries, and network of creeks and marshes that creates the kind of inshore habitat where redfish, trout, and flounder thrive. Catches of 20 plus redfish are common each trip.

Fishing is starting to pick up around St Augustine, our Mullet, migration has started early so the tarpon and redfish, mangrove snapper and flounder are starting to bite, thanks again
