About Your Trip

Head offshore in search of giants with Captain Frank on this deep-sea trolling adventure focused on targeting Big Bluefin Tuna, with opportunities for Marlin and Mahi Mahi along the way.

You'll kick off the day early, running out past the 30-line to cover productive offshore waters where Bluefin are known to cruise. Once you're on the grounds, Captain Frank will set up a spread and begin trolling—this technique covers water efficiently and gives you the
best shot at connecting with these powerful pelagic fish. While Bluefin are the primary target, there’s always a chance to encounter Marlin or Mahi depending on the season and conditions.

On the ride back in, when the timing’s right, you may pot-hop around floating debris or fish pots to check for Mahi patrolling the edges. These colorful fish can add a nice bonus to the day when they’re around.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 30’ Sea Hunt Gamefish 30 center console, a capable and comfortable offshore platform built for serious trolling. Outfitted with outriggers, a suite of electronics, and all the essential gear, this boat is rigged and ready. There's also a toilet on board for added convenience during long runs.

Captain Frank provides top-quality rods, reels, and trolling gear. Live bait may be used depending on the day’s plan—feel free to ask ahead about the bait situation so you know what to expect.

Anglers are welcome to keep a portion of the catch that meets size and bag limits, and fish cleaning is available at the dock so you can head home with fresh fillets, hassle-free.

If you’re looking to cover water in pursuit of Bluefin and experience the thrill of offshore trolling, this trip offers a solid shot at checking one off the list in the deep blue.

Depending on the species we have some different methodologies. Bluefish we have an early morning trip that will shock you how big some of these blues can get in the bay! Stripers well we catch em when people don’t
expect to be catching them. Fall stripers well mix it up with trolling spoons and umbrellas to live lining and poppers all in the same trip to keep the action up.
Offshore we get the Roffs forecast and talk with clients why we should fish where we fish. We also like to see you catch fish so sometimes we don’t really watch the time and enjoy the action!
