Get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime! Crystal River is located along Florida’s Nature Coast and is known for it’s unmatched scenic beauty, abundant wildlife, and wide variety of fishing opportunities. Depending on the time of year and conditions, we target a variety of species on inshore trips including redfish, snook, trout, black drum, tripletail, mackerel, sheepshead and pompano. Customers may keep up to their legal limit of any species. The captain will clean and bag each customer’s catch at the end of the trip. We provide all the quality essentials needed for a fantastic day on the water. Licensing, bait, gear, tackle, and ice are all included at no additional charge.

Captain Andrew is a true Florida Native with over 30 years of Fishing Experience on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Andrew fishes out of a 25ft Fat Cat Custom Bay Boat. This unique cat-hybrid style hull can run in as little as 6in and rest in 10in while still being able to comfortably run through nasty chop. The versatility is a big advantage in the. Crystal River area where much of the water is extremely shallow, but where open water is often necessary to cross.

Andrew prides himself on providing an all around quality fishing experience at every level. He provides top quality gear and service and is passionate about sharing his love of fishing with as many people as possible.

How did you get started guiding?

I wanted to live my dream so I quit my corporate day job, sold me house, and took a deckhand job until I could get my Captain’s License and start my own business. Best choice I ever made even though it was a big downgrade in pay at first.

What makes you different from other guides?

While I absolutely am obsessed with catching fish, I want to create the experience for the customer that is more than a business transaction and more than just about the fish we catch. I do this because I love every aspect of being on the water and being out in nature. You can find a charter anywhere. I want each of my clients to feel like they just spent an epic day on the water with a good friend.

Sunblock, polarized glasses, snacks, and drinks are recommended carry on.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
