About Your Trip

If you're looking for a full-throttle day on the water with a shot at big fish and bent rods, Captain Ronnie’s 10–12 hour offshore trip is exactly what you’re after. Running seasonally from April 15 through November 15, this extended adventure takes you out to the offshore grounds to target deep water species like Cod, Haddock, and starting June 1st, Bluefin Tuna.

Please note: If Tuna is the primary target, the trip is limited to
4 anglers to allow for space, comfort, and proper handling during these high-stakes battles. For all other species, up to 6 guests are welcome aboard.

You'll fish from Captain Ronnie’s 33’ Downeast boat, built for long runs and all-day comfort. Outfitted with everything you need for a productive offshore trip—including air conditioning, a full head with shower, bed, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and top-tier navigation and fishfinding electronics—this vessel is as capable as it is comfortable. The live bait well, outriggers, and ice box ensure you're always ready when the bite turns on.

Captain Ronnie provides all rods, reels, tackle, bait, and lures, and the boat carries your fishing license for the day. Whether you’re jigging for Haddock, dropping for Cod, or trolling for Tuna, you’ll have the right tools in hand. A professional first mate will be on board to assist throughout the trip and will clean and fillet your catch at the end. The mate works hard to make your day smooth and successful, so a 20% gratuity is customary and appreciated.

This is an ideal trip for anglers who want to spend the day going after serious fish, learning from an experienced captain, and enjoying the full offshore experience. Pack your food, drinks, weather-appropriate clothing, and a cooler for your fillets—Captain Ronnie will handle the rest. Whether you're targeting tasty bottom fish or going all-in on Tuna, you're in for an epic day on the water.

Outfitter
When you fish with Captains Ronnie and Leo, you’re stepping into a legacy that spans generations. Captain Ronnie, a lifelong angler with over 25 years of experience, first got hooked on fishing thanks to his brother—and he’s been chasing fish ever since. After two decades of running charters, Ronnie has built a reputation for putting clients on the fish, especially his favorite target: Striped Bass. His love for the sport runs deep, and one of his proudest achievements isn’t just a trophy catch—it’s passing that passion on to his son.

Enter Captain Leo. Now 21, Leo has followed in his father’s footsteps, growing up on the water and learning the ropes firsthand from one of the best. With a fresh energy and the same fierce dedication as his dad, Leo brings a next-gen approach to guiding—pairing modern tactics with time-tested know-how. Whether it’s casting for stripers or chasing giants offshore, this father-son duo knows how to deliver unforgettable days on the water.

And speaking of giants—ask Captain Ronnie about the time he battled a 701-pound Bluefin Tuna for over three hours. It’s the kind of story that makes you want to grab a rod and chase down your own legend. With Captains Ronnie and Leo at the helm, you’re not just getting a trip—you’re joining a family tradition built on tight lines, big smiles, and lifelong memories.
