About Your Trip

Come fish Lake Tawakoni, where the focus is simple: fun, family, and fish!

We offer 4.5 hour and 6.5 hour guided trips targeting hybrid striper, white bass (sandbass), and eater size catfish. Your trip includes everything you need - rods, reels, bait, tackle, and fish cleaning/packaging. Just being a cooler to take your fillets home!

We run our trips on 24' boats that handle big water comfortably, making this a great outing for families, first-timers
and seasoned anglers alike.

Our approach varies by season:
- For white bass and hybrid striper, we typically fish vertically over schools or cast when needed. We occasionally use live bait depending on the time of year.
- For catfish we fish over baited holes using punch bait or cut shad depending on water temp and fish behavior

Whether you're chasing numbers, looking for a personal best, or just wanting a great day on the lake with the family, we're here to get you on the fish and "Reeling in Memories"!

Trophy catfish trips are offered from November through February for the 6.5 hour price point!!

Hi! My name is Brett, and I'm a full time, licensed guide. I grew up in Rowlett, TX and currently reside in Rockwall TX. I've grown up fishing my whole life. Growing up on Lake Ray Hubbard, and living only 25 miles from Lake Tawakoni, has given me 30+ years fishing on both of these lakes. I have also fished bass tournaments competitively since I was 16 years old, which has given me lots of experience on different bodies of water all over the state, in many different conditions. So whether your a parent wanting to get your child started in fishing, wanting to learn how to fish yourself, or an accomplished fisherman wanting to catch fish or stock up your freezer I can put you on the fish! Hope to see you on the water!

Brett's a focused guide who works hard to find success. Booking company worked hard to rebook after weather cancelations and other issues caused schedule conflicts. Would prefer to see full balances as paid by running total in an account statement on website.
