Captain David specializes in targeting a wide variety of species using a range of techniques including live bait fishing, artificial lures, jigging, trolling, and light tackle setups. Depending on the conditions and time of year, you might hook into Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Grouper, Black Drum, Bluefish, and even the occasional Mahi, King Mackerel, or Bonita. There’s no telling what might end up on the end of your line!

Your trip will take place aboard Captain David’s 19’ Key West center console, a clean, agile vessel that’s ideal for navigating shallow flats and tight channels. The boat is equipped with a livewell, T-top for shade, fish finder, GPS mapping system, and all required safety equipment, including life vests. While compact, this setup is outfitted with everything you need for a successful day of fishing—plus optional seating for added comfort.

Departure time is usually around 8:00 AM, but may vary based on weather, water conditions, and other bookings. Captain David will confirm your exact start time at least a day in advance so you can be ready to roll with the tides.

Whether you're squeezing in a quick half-day adventure or going all-in with a full-day excursion, Captain David will make sure your trip is tailored to the bite and the conditions—giving you the best shot at filling the cooler and making great memories on the water.

We have a fleet of top-of-the-line motorboats designed to provide both comfort and performance. One of our flagship boats is a 33-foot Ocean Master, refurbished in 2025. Equipped with two brand new, 2025 Yamaha engines producing 350 horsepower each, this vessel achieves a maximum cruising speed of 52 mph. Accommodating up to six guests, the Ocean Master provides ample room for friends and family to enjoy the thrill of deep sea and inshore fishing in Pensacola Beach, FL. Its modern design and robust performance make it ideal for tackling the diverse fishing opportunities in the Gulf.

For smaller groups not looking to venture too far from shore, we offer our 21-foot MS Marine with a 2025 Yamaha 200 hp engine, with a guest capacity of up to 5, and a 19-foot Key West Bay Reef, powered by a single Yamaha engine delivering 115 horsepower. With a guest capacity of four, the Key West model is perfect for intimate fishing outings, ensuring a personalized and engaging experience on the water.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing drinks, snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip. Leave a cooler in your car for fish afterwards, we provide ice.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
