Hop aboard Captain David’s 33’ Ocean Master and head offshore for a deep sea adventure that delivers big fish and even bigger thrills! Whether you choose a 4-, 6-, or 8-hour trip, you'll be fishing the rich waters of the Gulf of America, targeting a wide variety of prized species near reefs, wrecks, and ledges up to 12–16 miles out of the Pensacola pass, in 50 to 100 feet of water.

Depending on the season and your preferences, you’ll have the chance to hook into Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Amberjack, Triggerfish, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, and much more. These trips are fully customizable—troll your way out, speed out and drop lines on structure, or catch live bait before heading deep—Captain David will tailor the day to get you on the most and best quality fish available.

Note: The 4-hour trip includes roughly 2-3 hours of fishing time, making it ideal for those wanting a quick but action-packed offshore run. However, we highly recommend the 6- or 8-hour options to maximize fishing time, explore more ground, and enjoy a more relaxed pace with time for bait catching, bottom fishing, trolling, and cleanup back at the dock.

You’ll be riding in comfort aboard one of the largest and best-equipped boats for private fishing charters in the area. The Ocean Master 33’ center console is loaded with all the gear you’ll need for a productive day, including outriggers, downriggers, radar, navigation, auto-pilot, and a full restroom on board. There's also plenty of seating, rod storage, and space to move about as you battle big offshore fighters.

All rods, reels, tackle, and live bait are provided, and Captain David will clean your catch at the end of the trip. You’re welcome to bring drinks (no glass please), and you can hook up your own music via Bluetooth to keep the good vibes rolling.

With a federal permit in hand and a flexible, customer-focused approach, Captain David’s offshore trips are perfect for anglers of all skill levels, and great for families and groups—including those with kids or mobility accommodations.

We have a fleet of top-of-the-line motorboats designed to provide both comfort and performance. One of our flagship boats is a 33-foot Ocean Master, refurbished in 2025. Equipped with two brand new, 2025 Yamaha engines producing 350 horsepower each, this vessel achieves a maximum cruising speed of 52 mph. Accommodating up to six guests, the Ocean Master provides ample room for friends and family to enjoy the thrill of deep sea and inshore fishing in Pensacola Beach, FL. Its modern design and robust performance make it ideal for tackling the diverse fishing opportunities in the Gulf.

For smaller groups not looking to venture too far from shore, we offer our 21-foot MS Marine with a 2025 Yamaha 200 hp engine, with a guest capacity of up to 5, and a 19-foot Key West Bay Reef, powered by a single Yamaha engine delivering 115 horsepower. With a guest capacity of four, the Key West model is perfect for intimate fishing outings, ensuring a personalized and engaging experience on the water.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing drinks, snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip. Leave a cooler in your car for fish after, we provide ice.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Amazing trip! David was everything we could have hoped for. We had two eleven year olds a fourteen and two dads with little experience. Captain David taught us how to do it all and we have fillets in the fridge to prove it!

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
