Fishing has been steady out of Fort Walton Beach lately. We’ve been finding red snapper and amberjack offshore while the shorter nearshore trips have kept families busy with red grouper and other species. September continues to offer plenty of action

September seems to be the magic month if you're looking for additional fish species to put in the box! Red Snapper and Triggerfish season is in full swing with Amberjack, Red Grouper, and Gag Grouper added to the list of fish to keep this month! Be sure to book a longer trip if you're wanting more time to tackle all of the species mentioned. Get a group of 6 people, whether family, buddies, or colleagues, and let's get out on the water for a fun-filled day!

Well the high pressure dome has finally started moving off to the West and it's really turned on the Vermillion Snapper, Triggerfish, Mangrove Snapper, and of course the Red Snapper bite is still red hot! 6hr trips are still seeing full limits of Red Snapper although a good majority of the Sows and Pearls have moved off into deeper cooler water. Plenty of great fishing still to be had and with September 1st just a few days away it's the perfect time to schedule a full day trip! Every species will be open from Amberjack to Gag Grouper and everything...

Case was a great guide, he filled us in on some of the local fishing history, the whys of what gear he was using and after not having much luck at a couple spots he took us out to a hot spot and we caught several keeper Red Snapper. We would book with him again!
Went out with Captain Reid on a 3 hour trip out of Fort Morgan. We had steady action and caught about a dozen keepers. Captain Reid worked hard and was very patient with a couple of newbie's in our group. He did not even get too upset when on of his rod's went overboard (he was able to recover it). I will definitely use him again.
My family and I had an opportunity to book through Captain Experiences and we were very fortunate to get Captain Reid. We had a wonderful experience, Reid was fantastic and knew the water well and area. Captain Reid had us all on fish immediately and through the entirety of the fishing trip we caught fish. I would highly recommend Captain Reid and his boat and equipment and fishing experience.
My husband and I had the best time and enjoyed our fishing experience with Captain Johnny! He knew all the good locations and has so much knowledge about the coast!
Great time with Capt Alex !!! Worked hard on getting us on fish and keeping us w bait on our lines . Def knowledgeable!! Def knows how to catch fish !!!! Very personable all in all great day !! Def highly recommend !
