About Your Trip

Captain Alan’s 6- to 8-hour nearshore trips are built for anglers who want to bend rods all day long and fill the cooler with a wide variety of hard-fighting, great-eating fish. Depending on the time of year, you’ll head out to reefs, wrecks, and bottom structure just off the coast to target Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Sheepshead, Grunts, Sharks, and more.

Running out aboard a 2023 26’ Southern Cross center console with a 250 HP Suzuki
and a cruising speed up to 45 knots, you’ll get to the fish fast and comfortably. The boat’s spacious layout and high sides make it ideal for groups, and it’s fully outfitted with Garmin electronics, a Minn Kota trolling motor, and a massive 65-gallon livewell to keep fresh bait flowing all day.

Captain Alan equips each angler with high-end Eupro rods and Florida Fishing Products reels, giving you the strength and sensitivity to pull fish from heavy structure and feel even the lightest bite. Depending on the season and target species, you'll be dropping bait to the bottom, pitching around structure, or setting up for some rod-bending action with Sharks.

With everything included—rods, reels, bait, tackle, licenses, ice, and bottled water—you just need to bring food, drinks, and a camera. Whether you're chasing dinner or hunting trophies, this nearshore trip offers nonstop action and a shot at some of the Gulf’s tastiest and toughest fish.

Independent Guide
From early mornings on the water with his dad to earning his Master Captain's license, Captain Alan’s life has been a steady tide pulling him toward a career in fishing. Growing up in Florida, Alan spent his weekdays on the baseball field and his weekends chasing fish—hooked on the thrill and tranquility of the sport from a young age. That passion only deepened over the years. He got his start in the industry working at a local bait and tackle shop, saving up to buy his first boat while still in high school. Before long, he was guiding family and friends, laying the foundation for what would become his dream job.

Now based in Cape Coral, Captain Alan runs inshore and nearshore trips targeting everything from snook and redfish to hard-fighting tarpon and monster goliath grouper. Whether you're angling the mangroves or wrestling a giant offshore, Alan brings patience, knowledge, and infectious enthusiasm to every trip. He’s built his charter business on the belief that a good day of fishing is about more than just the catch—it’s about connection, storytelling, and memories that last a lifetime.

With years of local knowledge and a true dedication to his craft, Captain Alan is ready to show you the best of Florida’s waters. Just bring your sense of adventure—he’ll take care of the rest.
