About Your Trip

Climb aboard with Captain Ron and get ready to fish the waters around Milford, Connecticut like a local. With over 40 years of experience and a deep passion for the sport, Captain Ron brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm to every trip—welcoming anglers of all skill levels with open arms and a good sense of humor.

Whether you're looking to chase big Striped Bass, tangle with aggressive Bluefish, or drop lines for bottom
dwellers like Black Sea Bass and Porgies, this trip is all about variety and fun. Depending on the season, you might also hook into Spanish Mackerel, Albies, Dogfish, and more. From trolling to bottom fishing and everything in between, Captain Ron will tailor your experience to match the bite and your preferences.

You don’t need any experience to enjoy this trip—just show up with a great attitude. Captain Ron is always happy to teach newcomers the ropes, share his favorite techniques, and make sure everyone feels confident with a rod in hand. The goal is simple: catch fish, have fun, and make memories out on the water.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, so you can leave the gear at home. Just bring your favorite snacks, drinks, and sun protection. And if you’re in the mood for a relaxing cruise or sunset ride instead of a full fishing mission, Captain Ron is happy to accommodate that too.

Whether you're a hardcore angler or just looking for a fun, laid-back day on the Sound, a trip with Captain Ron is always time well spent. Book your spot, kick back, and let a true local show you why fishing here never gets old.
