Four hours on the water out of Port St. Joe with Kevin puts your group in one of the Florida Panhandle's most scenic and productive inshore fisheries. This trip is built around redfish, one of the Gulf Coast's most prized inshore species, pursued with top-rate equipment and a flexible approach that adapts to the conditions and what the fish are doing on any given day.

Kevin works the backwater, flats, and coastal structure around Port St. Joe with live bait and lures, covering the kinds of water that hold redfish consistently throughout the year. For anglers interested in fly fishing, Kevin is happy to accommodate and can tailor the experience around a fly rod presentation when conditions allow. However your group prefers to fish, the goal is the same: get your group on redfish and make the most of every hour on the water.

Port St. Joe sits at the edge of some of the most unspoiled coastal habitat in Florida, with grass flats, oyster bars, and protected backwater that provide exactly the kind of environment redfish thrive in. The setting alone makes this trip worth booking, and the fishing adds everything else.

Your group fishes from a 23-foot bay boat, a capable and comfortable inshore platform with the shallow draft needed to access the productive flats and backwater where redfish spend their time. I grew up in NW Ohio fishing the Great Lakes with my Dad on the weekends. I have been fishing the waters in around Port St. Joe since 1993. I enjoy both spinning and fly fishing. I have learned to enjoy watching others catch fish especially young kiddos that want to learn to fish. I really love to teach beginners the basics of fishing and share my passion for this hobby. I am a former Army medic and medical sales executive of 20 plus years. My passion now is teaching part time and fishing with clients, which has increased my passion for life. I enjoy time with my immediate family and church family. When I’m not fishing we are cooking or just hanging out.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
