Apalachicola fishing is heating up as the weather turns cold. Redfish are haunting the creeks and flats, foraging on everything they can find to eat. Soft plastics and flies make excellent offerings this time of year. Off the beaches Bull redfish are starting to invade the shoals and inshore sandbars, chasing schools of baitfish and shrimp. Poppers and topwaters have been getting smashed with explosive frequency. All in all, if you can brave the cold, the fishing is quite hot!

On August 1st. My 15 year old son and I went out with Captain John John on a 3 hour shark trip. We caught 9 sharks and multiple other fish. We had a great time.
