About Your Trip

Scalloping is described best as an underwater Easter egg hunt. We depart the dock and glide across the shallow flats until we get to our destination. Once there we will get ready by putting on our dive masks and snorkels, fins and mesh bag to collect the scallops in.

Once in the water you will discover a whole new world with abundant sea life such as starfish, sea horses, and just about every kind of
fish you can imagine. You will glide along the surface looking for the scallops that are hiding in the grass below, while they are hard to spot sometimes you will get the hang of it pretty quickly and be collecting the little morsels faster than you can imagine.

Once we have our limit i will show you how to clean them and get them ready for the ride home and onto the menu for that night.

scalloping is a true Florida tradition the is extremely fun for all ages and there are not a better way to spend a hot Florida day than in the water looking for Scallops

Independent Guide
I've been a full time guide for 30 years and have fished just about everywhere on the gulf coast from the Florida keys to Brownsville Texas. I have settled in North Florida because of the remoteness on the natural beauty of the coast.

I fished all the professional redfish tour circuits in the early 2000’s, which allowed me to learn how and why some areas are better than others. I also learned that of all the places I fish the
Big Bend region of Florida is a very special place.

I have learned as I have grown up in this industry that a great fishing trip is more than great fishing, it entails great company and great atmosphere, I hope to be able to show you all of that when you spend the day on my boat!
