From the moment you meet your guide at the boat ramp, everything is set up for success. After a quick rundown on safety, boat procedures, and what to expect on the water, you’ll step aboard a spacious, stable river boat built specifically for chasing giants. Outfitted with top-tier electronics, heavy-duty rods and reels, and premium tackle, this setup is designed to handle serious fish—and serious fun.

Depending on the season and river conditions, your guide will use a variety of catfishing techniques to get you on the bite. Rising spring waters often mean fish are moving upriver, while fall brings cooler temps and a downstream shift in fish location. Your guide keeps a close eye on these patterns and will put you in the right place at the right time using proven strategies that deliver.

You can choose from 4-hour, 6-hour, or full-day trips, with custom options available upon request—including both day and night trips depending on the season. Whether you’re going solo, bringing the family, or organizing a corporate outing, your crew can accommodate any size group with multiple boats and experienced guides ready to roll.

All gear is included in your trip: rods, reels, bait, tackle, bottled drinks, sunscreen, and life jackets. The only thing you need to bring is a valid Nebraska or Iowa fishing license and whatever snacks and drinks you’d like to have on board. A small cooler is welcome if you’d like to bring your own.

This isn’t just your average fishing trip—this is your shot at landing a monster. In the 2023 season alone, clients caught multiple fish in the 80- and 90-pound range, and several tipping the scales over 100 pounds. These guides are relentless in their pursuit of giants, and they’ve got the tools and experience to put you on a once-in-a-lifetime fish.

All fish are photographed and released, but if you’d like to keep a smaller, eater-sized catfish or two, your guide will take care of cleaning and processing them for you.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. George will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
