The inshore and backcountry waters around Edgewater are home to a wide range of species throughout the year. Depending on the season and conditions, you might find yourself battling Redfish near the mangroves, drifting for Spotted Seatrout across the grass flats, or dropping a line for Black Drum and Mangrove Snapper. Jack Crevalle bring fast-paced action, and Snook are always a welcome challenge when they show up in the mix. Light tackle is typically the method of choice, making for an active and engaging experience whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned angler.

Your trip takes place aboard Captain Craig’s 20’ Southern Skimmer skiff, a shallow-draft vessel designed for sneaking into tight inshore spots. With a capacity for up to 4 passengers, it’s an ideal setup for small groups or families. The boat comes equipped with GPS, a fishfinder, live bait well, and an ice box to keep your catch and drinks chilled.

Captain Craig supplies all the rods, reels, tackle, and bait you’ll need for the day. He also provides lures, bottled water, and even handles your fishing license—so no extra paperwork needed. At the end of the trip, he’ll clean and bag your catch so you can enjoy it fresh back on shore.

To get the most out of your day, bring along sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing, non-spray sunscreen, and any snacks you might want. You're welcome to bring alcoholic beverages in moderation—just stick to cans and leave the hard liquor and glass bottles at home.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
