Snook fishing has been excellent all summer, and I’ve been finding them in a variety of locations, from the passes and beaches to areas with strong current and structure. Snook fishing in Marco Island and Naples has been particularly productive, and we’ve had great success sight-fishing for snook along the beaches using live bait, as well as fly fishing. Snook sight fishing in Marco Island is one of my favorite ways to target these fish because you can often see them cruising the shallow water before making a presentation.

Overslot Redfish are in, big snook are here, lots of smaller tarpon in the 40lb class, snapper and goliath grouper are still plentiful. Lots of sharks and even some sawfish.
