Coming off of that full moon and kingtide, I've had to stick and move in Ormond and Flagler. Fish are scattered on the flats and shallows. Im basically get one to two bites per spot and if I don't get a bite in 10 to 15 minutes I'm moving to another spot. Flounder, redfish and snook have been on the menu snd catching them on finger mullet, shrimp and crab.

Sight fishing in the flood tide has been productive. The black drum are starting to show up in the creeks and the bull reds have been in the inlet and bridges.

Fall has arrived & the mullet are running. Cooler temps and lunar related flood tides have the redfish up shallow in the grass. A great sightfishing experience on conventional or fly fishing as the redfish & sheepshead cruise the flats in search of crabs. The mullet run has also kicked off & this is not a time to sleep on active tarpon & snook as they migrate their way south. Inlets & bridges are holding bait & big tarpon.

The inlet has been red hot with a big school of redfish hanging around. Both slot fish and some bigger fish up in the 40"+ range. I've had a bunch of triple and even quadruple hook ups. There's been a pile of snook too with some big fish in the upper 30" range. They can be more finicky at times. Tarpon and jacks in the area as well. We have had some National Geographic feeding frenzies with schools of mullet the size of a football field getting smashed by these predatory fish.
