Palm Coast Fishing Overview

Palm Beach Fishing Charters may be overshadowed by St. Augustine, but it offers a world-class fishery in the local marshlands and Continental Shelf. Anglers can target Redfish in the inshore waters, while Trout, Tarpon, and Flounder also inhabit the area. Offshore, Grouper, Snapper, Kingfish, Marlin, Sailfish, and Tuna can be caught. The town's section of the Intracoastal Waterway has productive fishing spots, allowing for quick access on half-day trips. Inshore trips can be extended to a full day, while nearshore and offshore adventures are typically full-day packages. Bing's Landing serves as the main launching point for charters. Anglers over 16 must obtain a fishing license and adhere to local bag limits. Licensed charters provide all necessary information and licenses.

Palm Coast Freshwater Fishing

These nearshore fish species crush bait and fight hard which is the perfect recipe for an exciting day of fishing.

The range of incredible species that patrol these waters include blackfin tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi, kingfish, and sailfish. Many of these fish come through the area during their migration with tuna and sailfish coming in strong in the spring. Summer lends itself to a strong mahi-mahi and kingfish bite while huge wahoo are hot in the cooler months. Offshore trolling is exhilarating with long fights, huge blowups, and even bigger fish.

Five stars all around. I booked this trip to give my almost 5-year-old son, the ocean fishing experience. Srbo was very patient with him. Answered all of his questions about fishing, the boat, etc. He also kept his line in the water, helped him catch the biggest fish of the day and made sure we both had a great experience.

Christopher M. with Srbo T. of Daytona Beach, Florida

  • ★★★★★
With a huge storm the day before and winds still keeping most boats off the water we did very well. 12 fish total with 2 being sharks. One fish we caught was bit in half! Great day on the beach! Learned so many new skills as well and Kathy is too notch at sharing her techniques and working diligently to keep all three of us busey with four rods. You won't find that from a boat. Honestly with four poles soaking, most double rigs totaling 7-8 baits in the water at all times seems much more productive than one rod per angler getting snagged on a reef or baits getting stripped. Being an avid angler myself I'm very impressed with my first time surf fishing under post cold front conditions when many fish get finiky and tuff to commit to feed. Thank you Kathy!!! I'll be back!

Brian G. with Cathy S. of Flagler Beach, Florida

Had a great time on the water with a helpful captain who knew his stuff! Steered us in the right direction to catch what we were most interested in, and was a great guide. Brought back enough fish to make a tasty meal for four. We even saw a pod of dolphins playing on the way back! Would definitely recommend!

Took our grandson from North Carolina on a shark fishing excursion with Srbo as our captain. Even though our catch was limited, the afternoon and evening with Srbo made up for that. Weather was ideal. Will be back with another grandson and will do this trip again, with Srbo as our captain.
