The speckled trout bite has been pretty hot and the bull redfish are beginning to show up!

The red grouper bite is off the chain. You can get some anywhere from forty feet out to as deep as you want to go. The red snapper have been hidden. Most of the bigger keepers are in deep water one hundred to one hundred and forty feet deep. Down bigger baits equal bigger fish. The usual cut beats whether ladyfish or mullet, or bunker whichever you'd like to call them. Are working great!

Bottom fishing has been great lately so have the trolling trips. When bottom fishing we have been getting big vermillion snapper, some red snapper, and red grouper. When trolling we have been getting Mahi Mahi, Little Tunnys, big Spanish Mackerel, and King Mackerel.

44 keeper Pompano yesterday!
The Pompano bite has been absolutely awesome this month, we are also catching some small sharks, some Spanish mackerel, some lady fish, and some hard tales in between. Plenty of action for everyone this time of year. Some trips we have a Rod bending at all times!

There's been a lot of speckled trout with a few good ones. This young man fought this 40 1/4 inch, 26 lbs Bull redfish for 30 minutes!

Look for bait stacks.
The usual frozen baits are the best thing to start with.
The when the bite starts to slow switch to live baits. Pinfish are working.
But live sardines and live cigar, minnows are working the best..

Trout bite is awesome. Water temp in low low 80s. Alot of wind so we have to be selective on fishing area but the Trout are scattered around but still hungry. Finally have a good summer tide. As this wind lays over the next few days we should more areas to fish.
