Big Ugly Fight I knew once the warmer weather came in id have abother shot at this Big black drum that ive been trying to get on my last 4 charters and finally got him. I waited to get him on an incoming tide right by a piling on top of an oyster bed. We were getting bites on the prawn and big live shrimp an finally nailed him. Redfish are schooling and the bite is heating up as the weather is cooling off. Sheephead bite is still strong and the trout and weak weakfish bite is picking up

With the cooler clean Crystal Clearwater site Fishing has been at its best catching great numbers of redfish, black drum and speckled sea trout. I expect with the weather forecast over the next couple weeks for the bike to remain very good and the site Fishing to be at its best January and February can be some of the best fishing in the Mosquito lagoon
