About Your Trip

Join Captain Mike on a 3- to 5-hour fly fishing adventure through the serene waters of Mosquito Lagoon, Indian River Lagoon, and the surrounding inshore flats near New Smyrna Beach and Ormond Beach. These rich ecosystems are prime territory for Redfish, Black Drum, Snook, Speckled Trout, and even Tarpon during the right seasons.

You’ll be sight casting from a 19’ Hells Bay skiff, built to glide silently across the flats with stealth and precision. Powered
by a 90 HP Suzuki engine, it’s the perfect platform for stalking tailing fish in skinny water.

Captain Mike provides G. Loomis rods and Nautilus reels, some of the best fly gear in the business, and guides anglers of all skill levels—from first-time casters to seasoned fly fishing vets. With flexible pickup locations and expert local knowledge, Mike will put you on the fish in some of the most scenic backcountry in East Central Florida.

Bring your polarized shades, your A-game, and your favorite drinks (no glass, please)—this is shallow water fly fishing at its finest.
