As things change to our Midsomer patterns. It’s all about the availability of the bait. That drives the fish bite. When we get the strong outgoing tides near the new and full moon, pass crabs are flushing out of Tampa Bay in big numbers. This is one of our favorite scenarios to catch Tarpon. It concentrates the fish and they are focused on those little crabs.
Also, the second hatch of sardines has exploded, and the flats are covered. The small Bait are exactly what the mangrove snapper are looking for solid catches of snapper daily now. We are still...

Also, the second hatch of sardines has exploded, and the flats are covered. The small Bait are exactly what the mangrove snapper are looking for solid catches of snapper daily now. We are still
seeing our share of Snook. And redfish the over slot speckled trout have moved out to the edge of the grass flats and have been super cooperative anytime the tide is moving.

The Ponce Inlet area had really been heating up. And I mean that literally. With water temps in the mid 80s many species have been pretty active. For the past two weeks we have had Kingfish (king mackeral) on the beaches so just about every drop with bait you are hooking up. This is great if you are targeting them but otherwise they are going to bite you off. Tarpon still very active with mixes of 20-40 lb fish and 100lb plus fish. Bull reds are increasing in size by the day with some nice bags of mangrove snapper and...

I fished with Dean from Bucks Graphics and his girlfriend Krista yesterday. Dean said he wanted to catch his first Snook and we checked that box first thing in the morning with a beautiful 32 and 3/4 inch drag screamer! Other than the Snook, the bite was a little slow in the morning, on a slow moving outgoing tide. However when the tide turned around and started coming in, things picked up, and Krista decided to put the hammer down on some quality Seatrout, including a pair of fat 22 + inch ones. Not bad for her first time fishing!...

These guys toughed it out through are slow morning bite, some howling west winds and rough seas, and put together a pretty good day of catching fish out in God's Country💪. Looking forward to having you guys back again soon, prayfully with less wind and calmer Seas 🤪🤣!!!

Ran a scouting trip yesterday with my buddy John out into God's Country. Fished some areas I am not familiar with, which is always fun, and we were fairly productive. We caught about seven or eight Redfish, with the biggest coming in just over 32 in. Also caught some nice Seatrout, including John's fat 22-in piggy. At first we thought John had a Redfish on as it was pulling some drag until it came to the surface and we saw it was a nice chunky Trout. Her stomach was already stuffed full of bait fish, so she had no reason to eat John's big pinfish but she gulped it right down into her stomach (see picture below⬇️)! Besides Redfish and Seatrout, we also caught Flounder and Black Drum. We threw a variety of live baits from Captains Cove including shrimp, pinfish, and mud minnows. The bigger fish were caught on pinfish and mud minnows, but live shrimp produced as well. We also saw a hundred pound plus Tarpon swim past the boat, but it would not eat anything we threw at it. Another blessed day out on the Nature Coast, which I believe is one of God's greatest gifts to us!

Blake accommodated our location by coming 30 minutes closer to Navarre, great start. We fought some wind but overall had a great afternoon. Blake was very knowledgeable and courteous to my two young boys, which for me ensures he’ll get our business again. The highlight of the day was our rescue of a pelican wrapped up in fishing line, absolutely amazing to see and watch Blake in his element, saving wildlife. A hands on miracle!

We arrived at the Dock to meet the Captain and get our trip underway ,Captain Tommy was awesome right from the start not to mention very nice boat with a lot of room and very fast !!! He was an awesome Fisherman and would teach and show his skill’s and would answer any questions. Captain Tommy would absolutely put you right on the fish , if he didn’t like a spot he would drag and go somewhere else !! 10 out of 10 for us ,we would always book him if we are in the area. Hope to get him up to Destin sometime!!!
