Fly fishing has been awesome with the weather we have been gifted. Sight casting schools is always a classic for my charters. Shark fishing has been a blast on light tackle, sight fishing them also! Lady fish, and Spanish on fly rod also! Albies are also starting to show up!

Redfish are chewin along with flounders. Topwater, swim baits and gulp. Along with live bait for begginers.

Wilmington has been offering a good topwater speckled trout bite early in the morning. Plenty of flounder as September starts our keeper season. Plenty of grey trout and redfish as well. In Oriental, the bull reds are starting to fire up. Morning trips with popping corks and evening bottom fishing with bait have been producing some big bull redfish.

The last couple weeks the wind has kept some from getting out and fishing but when the weather has cooperated fishing had been producing some nice fish. Trolling for Pelagic's has been spotty and when you do find them numbers have been down compared to previous seasons. Bottom fishing when you find your spot has been extremely good producing keeper gag grouper and for some reason lots of cobia. Almost every bottom trip produces keeper size cobia. Fishing has gotten hot. Winds have been blowing for weeks and has kept us out of the ocean. We have been inshore fishing which has been producing flounder, redfish, specked trout, lady fish and some black drum. Top water bites have been fun early and as the sun gets up we start fishing deeper to get the bites.

Had a great time with David and Keith yesterday. Reds got Pickey. Had em all around us they just wouldn't chew but they got a few flounder and the biggest one they ever saw. Just over 6lbs.
