About Your Trip

Captain Jacob will have you targeting some of the season’s top species, including Red Drum, Speckled Trout, and Flounder. The cooling waters bring these fish into the creeks, grass flats, and marsh edges where they feed aggressively, giving anglers plenty of chances to hook into hard-fighting reds, slick specks, and tasty flatties. Whether you're casting artificials or drifting live bait, Captain Jacob will dial in the technique that gets the rods bending.

You’ll fish aboard
a 22’ Tidewater Carolina Bay—custom-built for inshore fishing and coastal cruising alike. Outfitted with a durable fiberglass T-top, advanced GPS and depth finder, a whisper-quiet trolling motor for stealthy approaches, and a top-of-the-line sound system, this boat is equal parts performance and comfort. With forward and rear seating, there’s plenty of room to relax between bites and enjoy the sights of the Carolina coastline.

Trips are private and limited to just 4 anglers, making this a personal, laid-back experience tailored to your group. All rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are included—just bring your favorite snacks, drinks, and a light jacket for those cool fall breezes.

Whether you're an experienced angler chasing the fall inshore bite or just looking to unwind with a scenic day on the water, this 4-hour trip with Captain Jacob is the perfect way to experience the best of North Carolina’s fall fishing season!
