The weather finally broke a little for the better this week. First tournament of the year is this Saturday. We were able to get out last couple days. The fish are getting ready for the spawning season. For us on Erie that means one thing the possibility of a true giant. The first trip didn't disappoint anchored by a true trophy 30 inch fish. Slow trolling p-10 crank baits was the key. The fishing should be incredible for the next 6 weeks

Perch is still going strong around the island area. Stickers and spreaders tipped with shinners are working. Walleyes are being caught from Cleveland west to islands. Trollingis the key right now. Fishing is pretty good, lots of big big wind, not fun lol. Water temp needs to go down a bunch for the really big fish to start chopping.
