About Your Trip

Trophy trip. In this style of trip it is specifically designed to target trophy walleye. We fish 6-8 hour days with a variety of methods to catch big walleye. If you are not into quick limits and back to the dock this is the charter for you. Years of tournament fishing has driven me to chase big walleye. From November thru June the chance at a fish of a lifetime is real. When it comes to fishing there’s no guarantee on the result but i can tell you no one will work harder for you than I will.
The 4 hour charters are usually around that long. We can usually have our limits in that allotted time if not we may stay out a little longer depends on what you want to do. This is trolling style fishing where you can be as involved as you want. I can show some techniques where you can set rods and learn the ins and outs of trolling on Lake Erie or sit back relax and wait for the fish on call!! There is also casting trips and jigging. We run these in April for jigging and june July for casting. Either trip you decide we can always shift gears to do whatever it takes to put fish in the boat.
Thanks I look forward to meeting you. FISH ON!!!!!!!

My name is Don Lint. I reside in North Lawrence ,Ohio. I joined the Navy out of high school. In the Navy I was a hydraulics mechanic on F/A18 hornets. From there I ended up in a steel mill for the last 30 years. I’m retiring in March of 2025. My love for the outdoors has always been a big part of my life. I spent some years filming and bow hunting for a group here in Ohio. Hung up my bow for the addiction called Lake Erie walleye in 2005. It’s been a great run from tournament fishing to guiding in the last 8 years. I needed to keep working after I retire what better job in the world than taking people fishing for walleye at the walleye capital of the world. I’ve had a few different boats over the years but I settled on a Warrior2121 best decision for a smaller charter boat. It’s a 2019 equipped with all the latest lowrance electronics and powered by a 250 Suzuki outboard also a 9.9 kicker motor and a minnkota terrova. What can you expect on a charter with me??? The big thing I’ll tell you is we will have a great time catching fish and spending the day on the water. I’m not real big on rushing you from dock to limit back to dock. We can take our time enjoy the day. I travel my boat from port to port throughout the year following the walleye migration. The biggest areas we will fish are from Huron to Cleveland. I can travel anywhere you would like to go out of. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you.
Fish on!!!!!!!! Captain Don.
