Bite has been solid the past week inshore for redfish, snook and trout and nearshore has been good up to 9 miles offshore for grouper grunts snapper and sheepshead last week when the wind has allowed us to get out there. Everything on shrimp because everything loves shrimp.

The redfish bite in the back bays of Southwest Florida is starting to pick up and will only get better through the end of October. Plenty of breeder snook can be found in the passes and along the beaches. Bait has been plentiful on the grass flats which is a good place to work artificial lures for trout. Tarpon can still be found but time is running out on the 2022 season.

    My wife and I had an offshore trip planned but due to weather it got canceled. We adjusted and captain yani set us up with captain Kyle boner. We caught Snook, jack crevalle,catfish, mangrove snapper, needle fish, speckled trout, gator trout, Angie caught a shark and we both caught seagulls... we enjoyed a show from a dolphin who was waiting for us to release short Snook. Good fishing. Kyle told us about the temp. And they fried the fish he cleaned for us and it was delicious. Great communication between all. Highly recommend yani and Kyle.

    We had 4 of us and two kids one was 5 Scott was so patient with the kids and very interactive with everyone explaining each fish we caught- we caught 10 different species of fish that we boated but also had a shark and tarpon on. I would definitely recommend Scott to anyone who is looking for a great fishing captain.

    Capt. Jacob put us on tarpon early and often. One hook-up and quickly gone after one nice leap from the water. We had our chances early with plenty of fish around. Jacob kept up the hunt and our lack of fly casting wasn't a problem for the Captain. After we got more comfortable, we were able to land this nice tarpon on a fly. Something I have dreamed about for a while. Thank you Captain Experiences.
