Your adventure will take place aboard a 20’ center console boat, ideal for navigating the local bays, passes, and nearshore waters. With space for up to three anglers, it’s a perfect setup for small groups, friends, or families looking to spend the day hooked up and having fun. The boat is fully equipped with everything needed for a smooth day on the water, including a GPS, fishfinder, live bait well, wireless trolling motor, ice box, and even a multimedia system to keep the vibe going between bites.

On most trips, you’ll be bottom fishing with light tackle—an exciting and versatile method for targeting a wide variety of species. Whether you're after tasty table fare or hard-fighting game fish, Captain Michael has the expertise to put you in the right spot at the right time. Rods, reels, lures, and all the necessary tackle are included in your trip, and live bait will be ready to go before you even step aboard, so you’ll waste no time getting your line in the water.

If you’re in search of a more focused challenge, Captain Michael also offers half, 3/4, and full-day tarpon trips. These specialized outings give you the chance to tangle with one of the most iconic game fish in the world. Tarpon are known for their size, strength, and spectacular leaps, and this area is one of the best places to target them during the season.

There’s no need to worry about fishing licenses—Captain Michael’s license covers everyone on board, so all you need to do is show up ready to fish. Keep in mind that some species are subject to seasonal regulations and size limits, so just ask your captain if you're unsure about what you can keep.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
