Fishing reports straight from our guides in Breton Sound
Lately we have been catching plenty of sheepshead and black drum. Some days we are still getting into redfish, speckled trout, and white trout. The weather has been mild and we haven't had to make long boat rides, both of which make for a relaxing fishing experience. Live bait such as shrimp and fiddler crabs have been the key to success. In the coming weeks we will continue to fish inshore structure for sheepshead and drum, and start to focus on river mouths and deep bayous for trout and redfish once the water cools down.

As the days get cooler, the fishing gets hotter down here in South Louisiana. The bull reds and jacks are schooling by the tens and even hundreds some days.
