Captain Rich is a native of south Louisiana and has been chasing fish out of Venice, LA for more than twenty years. Captain Rich loves all species of fish, but his true loves are Redfish and Spotted Trout from the coastal waters off of Venice. In addition to line fishing, Rich is also an avid spearfisherman and is vice president of his spearfishing club.

In addition to being a charter captain, Rich has worked as a narcotics detective for the past 12 years, and also also served on the SWAT team for 5 years. He loves taking police and veterans on trips they'll never forget! Any trip with Captain Rich is sure to be a good one.

Capt rich was very communicative with pick up and knew exactly where the fish were! Only took us about 3-4 hours to get a 6 man red limit. Great company too to have on board as a capt. Will be back for sure!
