Are you ready to chase trophy Redfish and hungry Speckled Trout in the world-renowned Venice, LA marshes? Anybody can take you fishing, but Captain Rich is focused on making sure you create memories you’ll never forget.

Get out there and get after 'em aboard Captain Rich's 26' Blackjack center console—the perfect boat for chasing big-time Reds and other gamefish in Venice's shallow coastal waters and inshore marshes. He's an expert in this region, with years of experience guiding all kinds of guests, from seasoned anglers to first-timers. Prior to becoming a guide, Rich spent more than a decade in law enforcement, and loves taking out police, EMS, veterans, and others who've served their country or community.

Captain Rich will provide all the rods, reels, tackle, bait and ice for your trip. All you have to bring is your Louisiana fishing license and your sunscreen, and Captain Rich will take care of the rest!

Fuel cost will be added at the end of the trip when we return to the dock.

Live bait and fish cleaning included in above trip prices.

Captain Rich is a native of south Louisiana and has been chasing fish out of Venice, LA for more than twenty years. Captain Rich loves all species of fish, but his true loves are Redfish and Spotted Trout from the coastal waters off of Venice. In addition to line fishing, Rich is also an avid spearfisherman and is vice president of his spearfishing club.

In addition to being a charter captain, Rich has worked as a narcotics detective for the past 12 years, and also also served on the SWAT team for 5 years. He loves taking police and veterans on trips they'll never forget! Any trip with Captain Rich is sure to be a good one.

Fuel cost added at end of trip

Fuel cost will be added when we return to the marina at the end of our trip.

Tripletail, Red Snapper, Chandeleur island Trips and any near coastal oil rig fishing trip is an additional $100 added to total cost.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Capt rich was very communicative with pick up and knew exactly where the fish were! Only took us about 3-4 hours to get a 6 man red limit. Great company too to have on board as a capt. Will be back for sure!

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
