Fishing reports straight from our guides in Charlotte Harbor
We are on the end of fall, beginning of winter limbo in Sarasota, Florida. On our Inshore Fishing Charters, we are having success targeting Redfish on the edges of deeper channels, Trout near creeks like Hudson Bayou, Phillippi Creek and Bowlees Creek, targeting the deeper grass edges and muddy bottom holes and Snook around docks, oyster bars and mangrove points near the same creeks.

The Tarpon fishing has been good, we’ve been concentrating on that as always this part of the year.

We've been back and forth between snook/redfish and snapper/sheepshead fishing. The cold front shut down the white bait, but the shrimp eaters remain hungry! If you're ready to jump on board and have some fun with us today!

The snook fishing has been on fire with the warmer than usual February weather! The trout fishing is pretty dang good too!

Spring is springing. We have red tide on our beaches but the back water bite remains hot.

Bite has been solid the past week inshore for redfish, snook and trout and nearshore has been good up to 9 miles offshore for grouper grunts snapper and sheepshead last week when the wind has allowed us to get out there. Everything on shrimp because everything loves shrimp.

Cold water fishing!! We've been using shrimp for the last month now and the crustacean crushers are chewing good! Plenty of eating fish for our guests plus some fun catch and release groupers. Spring is right around the corner as pilchards are beginning to show up and we will be switching gears to snook and redfish! King fish season is knocking on the door too!! Book your adventure today!
