Experience the best flats fishing Southwest Florida has to offer! Specializing in fly fishing and light tackle spin fishing, Captain Liam prioritizes clients of all skill levels to catch the fish of a lifetime. During the day Redfish, Snook, and Tarpon can be targeted year-round and in many cases, sight fished. These fish can be difficult and spooky to catch in very shallow water, but with Captain Liam stealthily maneuvering the skiff from the stern with a push pole, you can get your chance of connecting with these special fish.

Another popular experience offered is nighttime fishing under docklights. Once the sun goes down, lights attached to docks turn on and so do the Snook and Tarpon. A half day trip in the evening will often be the easiest time to target these fish as they are less spooky and more apt to eat a fly or small lure. We give your money back if you don't get a bite from one of these fish!

On the 17ft Maverick HPX-S, fishing licenses and all necessary fly or spin gear is provided for. Captain Liam will have an iced down cooler on the boat with plenty of water. Feel free to bring any food desired or other drinks. We can also arrange for discounted lodging options if desired. Tight lines!

From a very young age, Liam had an interest in fishing. He began spin fishing trolling around the bays in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. At age 14 he started to dabble in fly fishing and made it his craft with the help of some mentors. Fly fishing soon became a lifelong passion and he began to learn everything there is to know about fly fishing, from the history to tying the perfect flies. Over the years, his skillset is consistently getting perfected with new knowledge learned. Liam enjoys teaching others the techniques, history, and conservation-based practices fly fishing offers. Fly fishing is like hunting in the shallow waters taking skill, patience, and strategy to hook the perfect catch.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

While it wasn't my best guided outing, it met all my expectations. Liam, my guide, was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful with me and I definitely recommend him for any future outings. My inexperience with redfish showed as Liam got me into plenty of fish that I missed. I did catch a sea trout as a consolation prize tho!

While I had some email issues with my reservation with Captain Experiences, a quick note to their website mail drop took care of it. Their response was quick and effective. Captain Experiences very much made it an easy task to setup this guided trip.
