Booking a guide is also more cost effective, especially if you only get out a handful of times per year. Griffin was excellent. He was very knowledgeable above where and when to fish for each species. We caught everything except a redfish, if we had caught one it would have been a “grand slam”. I highly recommend him as a guide.

We did the iguana hunt with Captain Chris. He met us on time, had the boat ready and we were on our way. He explained how the guns worked and how tough the iguanas were to shoot and kill. It takes a lot to kill one of them, but it was very thrilling and exciting to try to search them out in the trees, Figure out the best angle to shoot and take one down. Kind of a challenge because you’re in canals that are by houses and you want to make sure when you take a shot you’re not aiming at a person‘s home. Overall it was a great trip and we ended up getting four decent sized iguanas. Chris did a terrific job of talking about the area and answering any questions we had. Would highly recommend Captains Experiences.

James is one incredible individual above the captain title, with that said he moved us around on top of fish all day. Incredibly easy going and ask us exactly what we wanted and man did he deliver. Equipment was fantastic, boat is very nice and has tons of live bait. We couldn’t be happier with this charter and will absolutely take this trip again. I highly recommend as this was above and beyond an incredible experience!!!

Chris was great but the numbers of iguanas was not so great , need a better place to hunt . Shooting out of a boat with 3 or 4 people is not ideal because of too mush movement. Would I do it again yes but you need more information about #s , population, location and after you shoot one you have to have a good way to retrieve them . If they fall in the water you’re screwed or on the bank you can’t get to them . It’s fun but you need a better way . ???

An awesome day on the water!! Travis is an excellent captain and knows the area and water well. We went to several key spots that he had marked and it was obvious he knew where the fish were. The fish weren’t as active that day, however, Travis knew where to go to make sure we still got on fish to make it a memorable day. Thanks again Travis!! Highly recommend!
