About Your Trip

Join Captain Al for a fun-filled inshore fishing trip designed around steady action, variety, and a great day on the water. This trip targets some of the most popular and hard-fighting inshore species, including Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Flounder, and Sheepshead.

Every trip is shaped by the conditions of the day. Tides, weather, time of year, and water movement all play a major role in where the fish will be and
how they are feeding. Captain Al uses his local knowledge to adjust on the fly, making sure you are always fishing productive water instead of guessing where to go next.

Depending on what the fish are doing, you may be working mangrove shorelines where Snook and Redfish ambush bait, drifting over grass flats for Speckled Trout, or fishing structure and hard bottom for Black Drum and Sheepshead. Flounder and Mangrove Snapper are also common targets around channels, docks, and bottom transitions, adding even more variety to the day.

Captain Al focuses on not just putting you on fish, but also showing you how to catch them. Whether it’s reading the tide, adjusting your presentation, or understanding where fish position themselves throughout the day, you’ll pick up valuable knowledge while staying actively engaged in the fishing.

This trip is ideal for anglers of all experience levels, from beginners learning the basics to seasoned fishermen looking to refine their inshore skills. The goal is simple: keep lines in the water, adapt to conditions, and maximize your chances of steady bites.

With a mix of beautiful coastal scenery, productive fishing grounds, and a wide range of species to target, Captain Al’s inshore trip delivers a relaxed yet exciting experience that highlights the best of local saltwater fishing.

A GREAT day fishing with Captain Al!

Ended up booking for the COLDEST day possible in January but Cap’n Al found protected spots with great returns. We all three caught a bunch of Reds, snook, snapper and sheepshead.

Cap’n Al is super experienced and a great navigator..which is ideal when out in any waters. He is also calm, funny and patient, with a kind manner. Had great equipment and plenty of bait...

for us to lose while trying to entice the fish! The boat is terrific, clean and very well kept, a comfortable and safe platform to fish from, and took the chop very well.

He also kindly filleted our keepers to ensure we had a perfect dinner when we got home!

An excellent fishing adventure and we will certainly be going out with him again.

Thanks Cap’n Al, for a wonderful day!
