About Your Trip

Step into one of the most exciting fisheries in the world and take your shot at the “Silver King.” These trips are all about targeting tarpon—one of the most powerful and acrobatic fish you can hook into.

Tarpon are known for their explosive strikes, high-flying jumps, and long, drag-screaming runs. Hooking one is unforgettable—landing one is an accomplishment you won’t forget.

The Experience

You’ll fish along the beaches and passes of Southwest Florida, including areas
around Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Cayo Costa, and the legendary Boca Grande Pass.

These trips are highly seasonal and timed around tarpon migration patterns, tides, and conditions. The approach may vary from day to day, but the focus is always on putting you in the best position to get a shot at these fish.

What Sets It Apart

Tarpon fishing is a visual, high-adrenaline experience. From seeing fish roll on the surface to watching them explode on a bait, every moment builds toward that one shot. When it all comes together, it’s one of the most rewarding catches in fishing.

Good to Know

Tarpon season typically runs from April through July. These trips are focused on catch-and-release and require patience, timing, and a bit of luck.

Be sure to bring sun protection, drinks, and anything you’d like for the day. And don’t worry—your captain will make sure you’ve got the footage to relive it after the trip.

If you’re looking to chase one of the most iconic gamefish in the world, this is the trip to do it.

Growing up and fishing these waters extensively, he’s developed a strong understanding of the tides, seasonal patterns, and how fish move through the mangroves, flats, and nearshore Gulf waters. That experience shows in
his ability to adapt each trip—whether you’re targeting snook in the backcountry, reef species offshore, or chasing tarpon along the beaches.

Captain Jeff takes a hands-on, flexible approach and enjoys working with anglers of all skill levels. Whether you want to learn, stay actively involved, or just relax and fish, he’ll tailor the day to match your style and make sure you get the most out of your time on the water.
