This mammoth migrates up and down the coast filling stopping to fill up at Boca Grande Pass. The largest natural inlet on the gulf of Mexico, the Boca Grande pass can hold 10's of thousands of Tarpon on any given day. And they're all eating! These fish can be caught elsewhere as well from the areas backcountry lagoons to along the beaches. Luckily you'll have Captain Tim to tell you which areas are working and take you to the hottest spots! Tarpon are acrobats of the ocean and put on a spectacular show in the air! Whether you’re using rod and reel or fly fishing, these sometimes 100 plus pound fish love to fight hard. Tides, weather, and moon phases play an essential factor in a Tarpon’s behavior, but these kings are always hungry, biting on both live and artificial bait.
