Since the time I could hold a fishing rod I have fished the waters of Pine Island Sound, the same waters I still fish today. I dreamed of running my own boat as a young boy, watching kids and adults alike fall in love with fishing these waters I call home. As a 7th generation Floridian I am well versed to know where the fish are and the best way to catch them. I have dedicated much of my life to the wild world of saltwater fishing and I strive to make sure a day on the water with me is time well spent.

Rapid Fire Guide Q & A

What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?

Gotta go burgers, no one complains about a burger.
Whats your favorite band?
If I had to pick one it’s Jimmy Buffett all day, but I am a man of many genres. I like everything from reggae to country to classic and hard rock.
Whats your favorite movie?
Not a big movie guy but one that I always watched with my grandfather was O Brother Where Art Thou.
Whats your favorite sports team?
The Florida Gators through the good and the bad.
Whats your drink of choice?
Beer it has to be Landshark and lime but I am a sucker for a good Old Fashion as well.
What was your last halloween costume?
2022 was the first year I’ve dressed up in I couldn’t tell you how long and since we dressed my little boy up as Lieutenant Dan I was Forrest Gump.
What do you want for Christmas this year?
Socks
How did you get started guiding?
I had a dream to be a fishing guide since I was a little kid. I have been fishing all my life and some of my best memories with my dad and grandad were made on the same waters I now make a living fishing. It’s been the greatest achievement of my life being able to take people fishing as a career.
What makes you different from other guides?
There are many guides who are driven but I think my drive is unmatched. I waste no time, I am prompt, I genuinely care about the experience my guests have on my boat and want to see them smile throughout the trip. When the fishing is slow at times it bums me out worse than it may bum out the customer. Making sure my customers have a day they’ll always remember is my priority.
