Venture just beyond the barrier islands into the Gulf of Mexico for a nearshore fishing trip that offers the feel of offshore fishing while staying within sight of land. These 3/4 and full day trips give you the time and range to explore productive reefs and structure up to 9 miles offshore.

The Experience

With extended time on the water, you’ll be able to fish multiple spots and adjust to conditions throughout the day. These trips focus on targeting a wide variety of species, including snapper, grouper, kingfish, cobia, permit, and more depending on the season.

You’ll work both reef structure and the mid-water column using a mix of techniques to stay on active fish. Whether you’re looking to fill the cooler or enjoy catch-and-release action, the day is tailored to your goals.

The Boat & Setup

You’ll be fishing aboard a 23’ custom bay boat designed to handle both shallow water and nearshore conditions. With a wide, stable platform and room for up to 6 anglers, it’s a comfortable setup for covering water and staying on the bite.

Captain Jeff is a full-time Southwest Florida guide who spends his days on the water staying dialed in on the local fishery. With a U.S. Coast Guard 100GT Captain’s License and a safety-first mindset, he runs trips that are both professional and easygoing from start to finish.

Growing up and fishing these waters extensively, he’s developed a strong understanding of the tides, seasonal patterns, and how fish move through the mangroves, flats, and nearshore Gulf waters. That experience shows in his ability to adapt each trip—whether you’re targeting snook in the backcountry, reef species offshore, or chasing tarpon along the beaches.

Captain Jeff takes a hands-on, flexible approach and enjoys working with anglers of all skill levels. Whether you want to learn, stay actively involved, or just relax and fish, he’ll tailor the day to match your style and make sure you get the most out of your time on the water.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.

After booking your trip, we'll connect you directly with your guide to discuss additional details. In the meantime, our team is here to answer any questions via email, text, or phone.
