There's been a nice variety of fish in the Backcountry this past week. We're catching Sheepshead,Snook and Speckled Seatrout Weather is beautiful, and waters are calm and clear.

The fishing has been decent. There's a biomass of trout in the bay right now and they're hungry the water temps are equalizing and thusly the snook have started bighting again the red fish we were blessed with a few weeks ago have seemingly left, mackerel in the outer bay...

The fishing has been decent. There's a biomass of trout in the bay right now and they're hungry the water temps are equalizing and thusly the snook have started bighting again the red fish we were blessed with a few weeks ago have seemingly left, mackerel in the outer bay and gulf are chewing the bottom paint off and if you can make it out there the cobia are bighting in the gulf. Around town small snapper can be found pretty easy and plenty of Jack action as well.

Winner is in full winter is in full swing with 70° temperatures during the day and fantastic sale fishing, the King mackerels are around to bend the rod, as well as some really nice tuners. The mutton snappers have moved into the deep water of course groupers are closed so...

Winner is in full winter is in full swing with 70° temperatures during the day and fantastic sale fishing, the King mackerels are around to bend the rod, as well as some really nice tuners. The mutton snappers have moved into the deep water of course groupers are closed so we don't fish for them and basically it's just my favorite time of year. nothing is more fun than hooking up to a sale Fish and watching him job and having the boat back down on them for the real excitement on the right weather day, put the Kites up so you can see him eat debate while you're watching them. Best thing in the world.
