Launching out of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Back to back charters. Both groups agreed to go target some redfish, so we loaded up the boat and embarked on our journey. Started fishing dead shrimp 26" under a four horseman cork. Working oyster beds and old camps. Both groups made quick work, bringing in redfish after redfish. On both trips, we had our state allowed limits at 10 am. We would then work more old camps along Grand Bayou Blue catching sheepshead and reds. Once the bite stops at one location, we would switch from popping cork to free line. Free line...

Once the bite stops at one location, we would switch from popping cork to free line. Free line would give us an opportunity to get lower in the water column where more fish would be. Most of our redfish were 16"-18" (perfect eating size). Both groups left happy and excited for their next marsh adventure!

It has been on absolutely fire down here in Venice Louisiana. The trout and reds are stacked up in the passes. Everyone who has fished here for the last month and a half can’t believe how great the fishing is.

A recent Bull red trip with a crew out of Florida. Beginning (roughly) the third week in July through Labor and starting up again in October, the bull red fish show up in Venice, LA. We have been expanding our offerings here and making Bull only trips available to our clients during peak times. These trips are truly special and very different from our standard charters.     Captain Daryl was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and laid-back. He made our fishing trip beginner-friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we caught the fish we were after. We reeled in every species you’d want during our inshore adventure! His teaching skills were top-notch, and he never once made me feel inadequate due to my lack of fishing experience.     Went out with Captain Davide on June 5,2023. His in depth knowledge of the waters ( fishing he area since he was 9y.o.) really made the difference. We were on fish almost all day. He knew how to target each species and the best place to get them. He organized the day to target species that would keep us reeling fish in. Combination of American reds (15), Tuna(6), and variety of other species . Not to mention the wahoo that broke me off ( Damn near the biggest I ever saw). Ended with a day of heat exhaustion for me, 2 hours of fish cleaning for David, and buying 3 extra coolers for the haul home. Be careful...... There is alot of mean mugging at the cleaning station. Most everyone else got skunked that day. Thanks Capt. David Dr, James Hill Ft. Lauderdale Fl.

    Captain Jacob gets 5 BIG stars from my son Tyler and I. We had a fantastic trip with him yesterday. I cannot imagine there is a better fishing guide in the area . He had us on huge donkey red snappers in no time and he took us to many other locations for other species, since we had limited out on red snapper in the first 2 hours of fishing. His boat was immaculate. As a marine surveyor I look at these things as the safety of my son and myself is very important. Captain Jacob has a great sense of humor and makes sure his guests have a great time. Definitely choose him for your trio.
