About Your Trip

Located only 30 minutes from downtown New Orleans, head out with Captain Nick for a morning or afternoon spin fishing the waters of Southern Louisiana. All trips are approximately 6 hours long. Morning trips depart between 6 & 6:30 AM. Afternoon trips depart around 1 PM.

After you launch, Captain Nick will guide you thru the vast marshland and bayous that New Orleans, Delacroix, and St. Bernard have to offer as you watch cranes and other migratory birds fly up from the grass line and alligators storm off their perch on the bank while on your way to your fishing destination. He will put you in the best location to fish the rich marshes of the Louisiana delta for reel-stripping gamefish! Once the destination has been reached, Captain Nick will demonstrate numerous tips and strategies to make sure that you catch fish. Whether it be drift fishing a bay for speckled trout, chasing down tailing redfish or spin fishing for any of those other fabulous species Southeast Louisiana has to offer. Captain Nick will make sure you and your guests are well taken care of and get to experience a trip of a lifetime!

Captain Nick will come prepared with all the rods, reels, and tackle you will need for your trip so all you need to do is bring a Louisiana fishing license, whatever snacks and beverages you prefer, and Captain Nick will take care of the rest!

Captain Nicholas runs his guide service with headquarters in Delacroix, Louisiana. He specializes in New Orleans, St. Bernard and Delacroix saltwater charters.

For starters, he is a local native that grew up fishing and hunting the honey-holes in and around New Orleans, Louisiana. He has been a full-time fisherman since he was first introduced to the sport at the age of 3 and has been a professional New Orleans fishing guide for over 15 years.

For Captain Nick, fishing is his passion in addition to being his full-time career, and he likes to say, "I will devote my heart and soul to making sure that you and your guests have the trip of a lifetime." Customers have respectfully complimented in the past that “one will be hard-pressed to find a guide that knows marshes and bayous of New Orleans better than Captain Nick.” Having this experience is crucial in making absolutely sure you have a safe and fun-filled day on the water.

So bring your friends, family, kids, and business associates. Shoot, bring the dog if you need to! Everyone is welcome on Captain Nick's boat. It doesn't matter if you're a professional, a beginner, or anywhere between, he'll make sure you have a great time while catching lots of fish. he'll even tell you how to cook them!

Captain Nick's outfit is located a quick 30 minutes away from downtown New Orleans which makes this excursion an easy addition to your New Orleans trip or an excuse to explore the delicious food and rich culture of the Big Eazy while staying with Captain Nick's outfit. Lodging accommodations are available for up to 24 guests as well, with full kitchens, bathrooms, showers, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and a balcony overlooking the bayou... just right for enjoying the catch of the day and a few cold ones!
