Hop on board with Captain Joe for an action-packed day of inshore fishing in Saint Bernard! Saint Bernard is conveniently located right in the middle of the Louisiana marshes that provide plenty of opportunities to catch some tasty Gulf Coast fish.

On this full-day trip, Captain Joe will cruise you through some of these productive inshore waters where you'll be targeting Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout. A true entertainer, Captain Joe prefers to guide full-day trips so he can devote all his energy to giving guests a satisfying day of fishing. All you need to use for these fish is classic light tackle, so this trip is great for beginners and anyone else looking to have a productive day of fishing without any fuss!

Captain Joe fishes aboard a 25’ Majek bay boat that can fit up to 4 anglers. Powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine, this vessel will have no problem getting you to hard to reach spots in the inshores! She comes complete with all the necessities including GPS, Fishfinder and a Live Bait Well. Captain Joe will even clean any keepers for you to take home!

Captain Joe will provide all rods, reels, and tackle. He will even prepare some live bait before your trip so you can get right to fishing. You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
