Independent Guide 15 years of exp.
Captain Jimmy was born and bred on the Bayous of St. Bernard, Louisiana. He comes from a family of fishermen, and now Captain Jimmy carries the flag as a charter fishing guide catching Redfish, Speckled Trout, and much more.

Captain Jimmy began guiding charter fishing trips when he was 18 and has built a strong reputation over the last decade. Captain Jimmy especially loves working with families and introducing young anglers to the sport of fishing. As Captain Jimmy puts
it, "there is nothing better than seeing a child smiling when they reel in their first catch."

Captain Jimmy is a guide with the upmost respect for the land and wildlife. Preserving the Louisiana wetlands for future anglers means a great deal to him. He believes the best way to educate the next generation is to take them fishing to open their eyes to this unique fishery. Captain Jimmy also takes pride in showing the next generation the proper way to fish. Not only is it about the joys of the catch but of nature's beauty at its best.

Your day on the water will take you inshore fishing with light tackle for Redfish and Speckled Trout, as well as Black Drum, Flounder, and Sheepshead. Captain Jimmy mostly fishes with live shrimp under a popping cork.

Your fishing trip will take place aboard a 24’ Blazer Bay boat. It’s a seaworthy vessel which comes powered by a single 300 HP Yamaha V6 4.2 engine and can comfortably take up to 4 anglers. The boat is fully rigged with navigational and fish finding electronics, safety equipment, a live well loaded with bait, and a wireless trolling motor perfect for ambushing tailing Reds.

All trips provide Penn gear, bait, lures, and a complimentary fish cleaning service. You will also be provided with snacks, drinks, and lunch. Louisiana saltwater fishing licenses need to be purchased before the trip; other than that, pack according to the weather and get out there!
