South Florida Fishing Report Offshore action has been steady, with mahi fishing producing decent results in depths ranging from 900 to 1,500 feet of water. Anglers are finding success around broken debris and floating seaweed lines, where schools of mahi have been holding. Both artificial lures and live baits have been effective, giving fishermen plenty of opportunities throughout the day. On the reef, the snapper bite has really started to heat up. Yellowtail snapper have been the primary target, with solid catches of mangrove snapper and mutton snapper as well. We’re also still picking away at some quality red and black grouper here and there. If you’re looking for consistent action and a variety of species, this is one of the best times of the year to get out on the water. The reef is alive with activity, and the offshore mahi bite continues to provide exciting opportunities for anglers of all experience levels.

The bottom bite has been on fire with mutton snapper black grouper and some nice gags. We also caught lots of Blacfin tuna limiting out a couple days with some fish in the 20 pound range and one over 30 pounds. The sailfish showed up today.

Anthony reached out right after we booked and made it clear the trip could be tailored exactly how we wanted. His flexible schedule made it easy for us to pick times that worked for me and my son, which we really appreciated. If you’ve got kids, they’ll be in great hands- he’s definitely got that “dad mode” dialed in, and my son had an awesome time. We were catching fish every few minutes, and he cleaned some yellowjack and moonfish right at the dock, both of which we were eating within an hour. Would absolutely reach out to him again next time we’re in town!

If you have kids, or a group of friends or just you and your partner Anthony is the guide to choose!!! Anthony is very communicative and personable. He fosters an environment of comfort, laughter and adventure! He's outgoing, energetic, knowledgeable, kind, adventurous, kid oriented, willing to help!!! He made contact with us immediately after booking our trip to give us an overview of the experience. We were an hour late to our experience due to traffic and GPS misguidance Anthony was patient and assisted us in getting to the correct location. This experience was nothing short of a dream. Anthony is clearly passionate about what he does and its contagious. He is knowledgable, willing to help, outgoing, full of energy, adventurous, willing to go the extra mile for the sake of his clients!! Best experience and guide we could have asked for, for mine and my partners first time and my 14 year olds first time. We got to catch the fish we came for and some!! Anthony frequently checked in with us to verify comfort and frequently offered refreshments. Anthony went the extra mile to ensure that me, my boyfriend, and our daughter had the experience of a life time!! He took his time and didn't rush anything. We didn't just have an awesome experience and time fishing, we feel we made a friend!
