We've had a lower than normal tide since the full moon, the shallows have had lots of tailing pods. Deeper water areas, the fish seem to be in bigger schools. Which makes for long stretches without singles, unless you find the pods. Lots of small shrimp in the grass flats.

With recent rains, we've had a lot of freshwater input into our base system. A key for us has been focusing towards a higher salinity. Watch for your watercolor changes to key in on the salinity change. We have been able to pull out some really great trout this week, but do not be afraid to fish these dirty waters for your red fish and black drum where they are more apical to be in a brackish water.

Redfish have been good with cut mullet in mouths or back lakes.
Black drum have been scattered in potholes on flats. The typical bit of choice of dead shrimp on the bottom.
