The sheepshead bite has really kicked off with the arrival of the cold fronts! Tight lines and good time! Always!

• Sheepshead: This is the star of the show right now. As the water cools, "convicts" are moving onto dock pilings, bridge footings (especially the Matlacha Bridge), and oyster bars. Use small pieces of fresh shrimp or fiddler crabs on a #1 or 1/0 circle hook.
• Redfish: Look for
"tailers" on the shallow flats during the low afternoon tides. With negative tides predicted around midday, focus on the edges of deep-water creeks and mangrove shorelines.
• Trout: Seatrout are scattered across the 3- to 5-foot grassy flats. Drifting with a popping cork and live shrimp or slow-working a soft plastic paddle tail is the most consistent way to find them.
• Snook: Most snook have retreated into the warmer backcountry canals and up the Caloosahatchee River. They are a bit lethargic due to the temp drop, so slow down your presentation.

Captain Liam did a great job putting me on fish. His boat was clean and his gear was in great shape. His service was top notch and I’d absolutely go again if I’m in the area.

Alex was a great guide, knowledgeable, patience, we found the tarpon and snook but we just couldn't get them to bite. Some days you're the hammer some days you're the nail. Definitely be back again.

Liam was a terrific guide. Got me shots at Snook and Redfish. Got some Sea Trout. Expert, fun and a fine teacher. Knowledgeable about local scene as well. I had a great time with Liam and will book him again. Ernie.

While it wasn't my best guided outing, it met all my expectations. Liam, my guide, was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful with me and I definitely recommend him for any future outings. My inexperience with redfish showed as Liam got me into plenty of fish that I missed. I did catch a sea trout as a consolation prize tho! While I had some email issues with my reservation with Captain Experiences, a quick note to their website mail drop took care of it. Their response was quick and effective. Captain Experiences very much made it an easy task to setup this guided trip. Definitely Recommend Liam and Captain Experiences for your next guided trip.
