Bottom has started to slow down closer to shore but the trolling has helped make up for it. Almaco jacks are becoming more consistent on the bottom. Barracudas and Mackerel have been making appearances on the troll.

The Ponce Inlet area had really been heating up. And I mean that literally. With water temps in the mid 80s many species have been pretty active. For the past two weeks we have had Kingfish (king mackeral) on the beaches so just about every drop with bait you are hooking up. This is great if you are targeting them but otherwise they are going to bite you off. Tarpon still very active with mixes of 20-40 lb fish and 100lb plus fish. Scallop report:
The scallops are in Crystal River and Homosassa thick this year. We are scalloping in 2ft to 5ft of water all you need to do this is your bath suite, towels and mask and snorkel you will just swim around the beautiful grass flats that we have and can see scallops, stone crabs, spider crabs, and a lot of different smaller fish and starfish. If you don't have a mask and snorkel don't worry we have plenty for you to enjoy your day on the water.
