We've shot 14 species so far on the season and got our first canvasback of the year this weekend. We got 56 ducks and caught 7 reds in a day and a half! Oversized trout, hungry reds, and limits of ducks for this weekend!

The cooler weather is bringing in some big fish near wrecks and reefs. Fish tend to get a little bigger in the winter months. A variety of snappers and red drum has been on the menu!

Fishing has been great on the King Ranch fishing for trouts on a popping cork with plastic lures. Also drifting Baffin Bay with a popping cork on live shrimp.

Lower Laguna madre fishing report seems like red fish are everywhere lol live shrimp, live finger mullet, or cut skip Jack. A few large speckled trout starting to show up catching them on top water lures flounder being caught on worms and live bait but all have to be released...

Black drum and redfishing has been very good down in Baffin Bay. These cold fronts have them hungry! The red snapper bite has also been fantastic when the wind allows us outside of the jetties!

Fishing has been great with this colder front moving In. There's lots of bull reds offshore along the wrecks with the red snappers.
